Logic Pro setup
Logic Pro is compatible either with generic Mackie Control Universal (MCU) units or with the more suitable Logic Control protocol, an extension of MCU, specifically customised for Logic’s functionalities.
Here's how to set up ONE Control as a DAW Controller for Logic Pro:
Establish a connection from your iPad to your Mac (see MIDI Connection Setup)
In ONE Control, add a new controller by tapping the Plus button on the top corner of the main screen
In the “DAW Controllers” section, select Logic Pro
Logic Pro should instantly recognize ONE Control as a Logic Control surface

Setup a Mackie Control XT emulation
You ca configure your controller to act as a Mackie Control XT (extender) instead of the default mode (main unit). In doing so, you can use your iPad to extend to real Mackie hardware, or even use multiple iPad to setup a 16+-channel console.
How to configure the controller
Create and open a new Mackie Control controller for your DAW
Tap on Edit and then Settings
In the Mackie Control Mode section, select the channel range you want the XT controller to cover
Close and reopen the controller
Configure your connection and your DAW accordingly
Troubleshooting
ONE Control is not recognised
In Logic Pro, open the Control Surfaces window, accessible from the Logic Pro menu. If you don’t see the menu, you need to activate “Show Advanced Tools” from Settings
In the Control Surfaces window, check that Install automatically is active
In ONE Control, return to the main screen to reopen the Logic Pro controller
ONE Control is recognised, but the main LCD is empty (or using ONE Control produces unexpected results)
Is very important that you have a single instance of Logic Control configured in Logic Pro. If more than one instance is installed, Logic will be unable to correctly send the proper messages to ONE Control.
In Logic, open the Control Surfaces window (accessible from the Logic Pro menu). If you don’t see the menu, you need to activate “Show Advanced Tools” from Settings
Double check that you have only one instance of Logic Control in the list of surfaces available
If more than one Logic Control surface is visible, delete the unnecessary ones, or delete all of them and repeat the connection procedure
