Cheat Sheets
Here you can find dedicated Cheat Sheets for your favourite DAW with ONE Control. The app uses a language your DAW already understands - Mackie Control Universal - to provide touch-control over all important parameters. Our Cheat Sheets also walk you through the setup procedure for the corresponding DAW.
You can download the PDF of the cheat sheet or read it on the page.
For further instructions please consult your DAW’s documentation and the tutorials in our website.
Please note that they’re based on the manufacturer’s documentation, when available, and many hours of testing by our team. If you find discrepancy between what you read and the response of your DAW, let us know in the comments or via the Help Desk, your collaboration will be greatly appreciated.

Wait… Why do I need a cheat sheet?
All DAWs have a different implementation of the MCU protocol. Why? Since to their own minds, it customises an MCU controller for their particular DAW. (So, they don’t like the ‘U’ - i.e., Universal - in MCU.) Our Cheat Sheets, help you match an MCU controller’s parameters, to whatever corresponds with your DAW.
So when you use a supported DAW with ONE Control Plus, DAW or Pro edition, you will see all the components, knobs and buttons, properly displaying their respective DAW function. Sweet!
Yet, many DAWs have additional functions, when holding the Shift button on your controller, or other modifier buttons supported by some DAWs. So how are you supposed to remember all the functions? Well, you can use our Mackie MCU Cheat Sheets!
Save that brain space for something else!
Note: not all MCU functions are offered for all DAWs.
If a DAW doesn’t use an element of the controller, we label that "Currently unassigned" on the Cheat Sheet.
What else is on the Cheat Sheets?
In addition to describing the functions of all controls including their added functions when you press shift and other keys, our Cheat Sheets also tell you how to connect your DAW to ONE Control so you can begin using it as a MCU controller.
